South Hampstead High School

A new £14m teaching block was built for The Girls Day School Trust by Wates Construction. The new building includes state of the art classrooms, a new library, music studios and science, art & drama facilities. A triple height sports hall with changing rooms is provided below ground, allowing an all-weather sports area on the roof.

The comprehensive Carpentry & Joinery Package comprised Roofworks, Doorsets, Ironmongery, Glazed Screens, Laminate Faced CHRV Casings, and External Planters over seven floors in total. We were also tasked with the design and installation of one of the critical features of the new facility, the Douglas Fir Acoustic Wall Panelling to the central entrance atrium.
