Stortford Interiors to fit-out Langley Park Hotel

Specialist interior architectural package contractor, Stortford Interiors (UK) has secured the interior fit-out contract for the conversion of Grade II listed mansion, Langley Park Hotel in Buckinghamshire.

Stortford has been appointed by Brookfield Multiplex Construction (BMC) to deliver a first class drywall package within Langley Park’s Grade II listed clock house, leading to the development of 21 boutique bedrooms.

The scope of works will maintain the existing architectural aesthetic with detailing which is sympathetic to its historical interfaces. The fifteen-week project is part of wider conversion works designed by influential British architect Stiff Leadbetter which will transform the 17th century Palladian mansion house into a five-star hotel and spa.

Other lavish improvements include 17 en suite bedrooms situated in the main building, a major subterranean extension with a luxury spa and swimming pool facility, an extension to the Brewhouse and a refurbishment of the existing Winter Garden.

Scott Shearing, Pre-Construction Director of Stortford Interiors said: “We are honoured to be part of such an exciting heritage project to transform a listed building into a brand new grand hotel and leisure destination.
