Stortford Interiors is proud to announce that it has secured a major drywall and ceilings package at the London Fruit and Wool Exchange, Spitalfields for Ashurst.

Stortford Interiors recently completed a large base-build drywall and washroom fit-out scheme at the central London site and have now secured the multi-million pound package through long standing Client and fit-out contractor Structuretone.

The highly cellularised scheme, which covers two basement levels, a Ground Floor and Levels 1-5 inclusive captures high performance drywall partitions with an onus on acoustic performance and intimate structural steel interface detailing. The complex ceilings package covers plasterboard margins, metal pan insert ceilings and bespoke mesh ceilings all at varying levels with associated upstand detailing.

Scott Shearing – BD and Pre-construction Director stated ‘ The London and Fruit & Wool Exchange development has enabled us to showcase our continued ability to deliver within both base-build and now fit-out markets. This significant drywall and ceilings award provides the opportunity for us to reinforce our reputation as a prominent key player in the commercial fit-out sector and we look forward to delivering this demanding scheme to the highest quality standards’.
